Since our inception in 1997 Critical Stage Company has had an agenda - to open the eyes of its audiences to view their social conscience in a new way.

Committed to new writing, or tackling established pieces in a new way, CSC's penetrating treatment explores many and varied themes, revealing undercurrents and facets of work otherwise disguised or denied.

Our brand of "Surprisingly Stunning Theatre" has been taken across the UK, as well as abroad, and is now co-based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
