Danny Horrigan
Danny Horrigan studied at Royal Holloway University taking an MA in Theatre Directing; he also worked at The King's Head Theatre as a Trainee Assistant Director. His directing credits include Mountain Language, Precisely, & The New World Order by Harold Pinter, The Possibilites by Howard Barker, and The Duchess of Malfi by John Webster. His full length plays are Bound, and Blam:Blam. His short plays featured here have been described as consisting of 'poetic drama which has humanity'.
Sonia Linares Berroy
Sonia was born in Sabadell, Barcelona. She always wanted to be a singer and songwriter and started writing stories and songs from the age of 12. In 1995, whilst unhappy in her work for an oil company, she started to write her award –winning play “Chairs”. She arrived in Liverpool 2 years later, unable to speak English but hungry for creative experiences. In 2000, she enrolled on “Dream 2B Green”, a project to raise awareness about the recycling of plastics. Through this, she met Caroline Baillie and the rest of Critical Stage Company. Her current interest is in “Nature, science and its fiction as well as performing [her] music”.
*Krishen Copengara
Krishen was born in Handsworth Birmingham. After studying Modern History at Manchester University he won a scholarship to train as an actor at Cygnet Training Theatre Exeter. He then became a jobbing actor for over 13 years, working in films, television, theatre and radio. He gave up acting to spend time with his two small boys and completed a Masters Degree in History via the Open University. He currently works as an Administrator and lives in central London.
